Hypertension is known to be one of the diseases associated with the risk of cardiovascular disease which can trigger the production of this acute phase protein in the body so that its concentration increases and can be detected by qualitative laboratory examination. Hypertension is influenced by age factors, as age increases, a person is more susceptible to hypertension, therefore those aged 60 years and over or the elderly are very susceptible to this disease. In addition, differences in ethnicity cause differences in customs, culture, and eating habits, it is known that hypertension is a common disease experienced by the Malay Tribe than the Javanese Tribe. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between C-reactive protein in elderly hypertension patients along with a description of the results of C-reactive protein in the differences between the Javanese and Malay Tribes. This type of research used a quantitative descriptive method with sampling using a purposive sample technique. Data processed using Fisher Exact Test analysis and CRP examination carried out using the agglutination method. This study was conducted for one week starting from April 29th to May 4th, 2024 with a sample obtained of 45 samples (total population). Based on the research conducted, the positive CRP results were 4 with 1 coming from the Javanese tribe and 3 from the Malay tribe and there was no significant relationship with the Exact Sig value. Linkage Between Diseases: There is an increase in gum problems among diabetes sufferers reaching 72% because public awareness about dental and oral health has decreased in recent years. Purpose of the study: To determine the correlation between dental and oral health knowledge and periodontal tissue in diabetes mellitus sufferers. Methods: Type of analytical descriptive research with Chi-square design. Results:Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results of the chi-square statistical test showed that there was no correlation between dental and oral health knowledge and periodontal tissue in diabetes mellitus sufferers with a P value of 0.405 (&gt; 0.05). This means there is no correlation. Conclusion: There is no correlation between knowledge of dental and oral health and periodontal tissue of diabetes mellitus sufferers at the Way Halim II Health Center in Bandar Lampung.</p> Lies Elina Desi Andriyani Erni Gultom Yenny Lisbeth Siahaan Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmiah PANNMED (Pharmacist, Analyst, Nurse, Nutrition, Midwivery, Environment, Dentist) 2025-04-30 2025-04-30 20 1 10 14 10.36911/pannmed.v20i1.2248 PROMOSI KESEHATAN GIGI DENGAN MEDIA GAME KARPET (KARTU PERTANYAAN ) TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN SISWA/I SDN 06093 MEDAN http://str.nursing.poltekkes-medan.ac.id/ojs-3.3.0-13/pannmed/article/view/2256 <p><em>Oral health is an important part of general health. The number of permanent first molar teeth affected by caries was 54 teeth, representing 42.1%, while 74 teeth, or 57.9%, were not affected by caries. The conclusion of this study is that the parenting pattern is generally good; however, the incidence of caries remains high.
